History

The Department of Process Automation and Control was established in 2005 as part of the Department of Process Automation of Information Technologies.

Academics

The Department offers the following educational programs:

Bachelor's Degree Program

• 27.03.04 Management in Technical Systems

Master's Degree Program

• 15.04.04 Automation of Technological Processes and Production Facilities.

Graduates of the Department work in the field of design, installation, adjustment, and operation of automation systems, in research institutes and design bureaus for the development of technical equipment for automation, at enterprises of light, food and chemical industries in all regions of Russia.

The department has 5 educational laboratories with modern automation and computer equipment.
