The Department of Plasma Technology and Nanotechnology of High Molecular Weight Materials was established in 1998.

Academics

The Department provides theoretical and experimental skills for knowledge acquisition in the areas of materials, structures, design and fabrication of fur and leather goods.

The Department runs courses for the following Specialist Degree programs: “Nanomaterials”, “Textile Products Technology”, “Technology of Leather and Fur Materials”.

The Department offers postgraduate and postdoctoral programs.

Research

• development of organic hardeners, oiling agents, dyestuffs, varnishes;
• equipment design for fur and leather industry;
• fur and leather industry engineering.
