History

The Department was established in 1930 under the leadership of Full Professor N. Pautkin.

Academics

The Department offers courses in Advanced Mathematics to all students of the University in different Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs.

The Department runs the mathematical circle for young students, and holds the annual mathematical competition of the University. Moreover, the students of the University win the regional and national mathematical competitions in mathematics.

Research Activities

Scientific areas of the Department include:

• Mathematical simulation of hydrodynamics and heat exchange;
• Theory and application of topologic vector and functional interspaces;
• Mathematical simulation of magnetism in physics in condensed media;
• Mathematical and professional integration of education in the process of advanced mathematical studies.

Over 600 research papers and 400 research topics were given to the world by Department Professors at the international conferences.
