Kazan National Research Technological University aims at promoting global awareness and international cooperation.

Kazan National Research Technological University is an international university, engaged in a number of collaborative projects in different parts of the world.

The University cooperates mainly with countries in the EU, Belorussia, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, but has important partners in other regions of the globe, China, Korea, Vietnam, USA, Republic of South Africa and Egypt.

The University departments participate in international programs, take part in student and staff exchange programs, share experience in different research and development projects, and organize prestigious international sessions, workshops, conferences and seminars.

Around 30 international agreements have been concluded with foreign higher education institutions for international cooperation in the fields of education and research.

The University has close links with International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) which serves to advance the worldwide aspects of the chemical sciences and to contribute to the application of chemistry in the service of Mankind.

• Professor Jung-Il Jin, President of IUPAC;
• Professor Leiv K. Sydnes, ex-president of IUPAC;
• Professor Peter W. Atkins, a fellow and professor of chemistry at Lincoln College of the University of Oxford, a prolific writer of popular chemistry textbooks;
• Professor Chunli Bai, Executive Vice-President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Vice-President of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST);
• Professor Ole Hassager, Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering of the Danish Polymer Centre;
• Professor Edvard Gzhiva, ex-Minister of Chemical and Light Industry of Poland.

Over 400 international students study at our University, among them students from: Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Vietnam, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Chine, Congo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Morocco, Mongolia, Syria, Sudan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and etc.
