Our Students and Graduates Union (SGU) was founded to further and advocate students’ interests. Our work covers all non educational questions of student life and is directed to make it better:

• Arrangement of student social events;
• Promotion of healthy life style;
• Volunteer activity;
• Formation of politics awareness with our students;
• Establishing cooperation between other Higher Education Establishments and Public Organizations in Tatarstan, Russia and other countries.

The major self-government institution of Students and Graduates Union is the SGU KNRTU Conference which makes key decisions of the Union, including elections of the Chairperson for the SGU KNRTU. The executive power belongs to SGA KNRTU Council. The SGU KNRTU helps student to develop and realize their leadership characteristics, organizational skills, to gain experience in journalism, public speaking, role playing and many other spheres. This is why our students are very active at participating in public activities. We discover and develop their capabilities, so they are highly competitive and are active in the labor market when they graduate. The Union is responsible for making arrangements of events like “The Day of Knowledge”, initiation into first-year students “The First Experience”, the awarding ceremony “The Overachieving Student”, and make them the most prominent events every year. The SGU KNRTU is considered to be one the of the most powerful student self-government institutions in Tatarstan. A large number of awards for active work in students life and politics can serve as the positive proof.

Structure of The SGU KNRTU includes:
