Innovational Testing Ground Facility “Iskra” is situated in the village of Kurkachi about 40 km from Kazan. There are several pilot plants on the territory of innovation ground “Iskra”. They are used for practical application of research results.

These pilot plants provide opportunities for students to obtain practical skills.

The pilot plants are:

• Production of inhibitory pigment on the basis of exhausted catalyst.
• Woodworking production of saw timber with the use of vacuum drying.
• Production of polymer base for heat-conducting sealant.
• Production of bitumen mastic.
• Plant of a high-frequency plastic processing of material at low-pressure.
• Production of reagent for detoxication and revegetation of anthropogenic polluted soil.

The plans for the nearest future are:

• Manufacture of modified bitumen for paving.
• Production of oil slime and oily soil recycling plant.
• Package of delivery orders on a vacuum pulse hot-air drier.
• Revegetation and detoxication of anthropegenic polluted soil.
