On June 1, 2022 a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan represented by Vice Rector for Research and Innovation of Samarkand State University (SGU) – Hakim A. Hushvaktov visited Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU).

Samarkand State University representatives were welcomed by KNRTU Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dilbar Sh. Sultanova and Vice Rector for Research and Innovation Alexander Yu. Kopylov. The meeting agenda included prospects for SGU and KNRTU cooperation in the field of academic mobility and joint research programs.

During the visit, the delegation took a laboratory tour at the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry headed by Prof. Yuriy G. Galyametdinov.

Curator of historical and memorial expositions Denis M. Sakharnikh gave a tour of the KNRTU History Museum and spoke about interesting past events.

The delegation was accompanied by Head of International Affairs Anna O. Ebel.
