The second stage of the internship for the winners of the republican competition "Engineer of the Year" in 2019 and 2021 has begun.

The first module included online classes on innovations for industrial development, breakthrough products and services. This time the winners were invited to Skolkovo Innovation Center.

Interns got acquainted with ecosystem of the center and learned more about startup support. Among the winners were young scientists from KNRTU (there were 16 winners from the university in 2019 and 2021).

"We’ve visited Pipe Metallurgical Company centers, Sibur, Hydrocarbon Center in Renova, and got acquainted with their innovative solutions," said Matvey Talan, a master's degree student at the Department of Food Production Equipment. – We have classes on the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TIPS). The program is very balanced. The classes are arranged in the daytime, we have free time in the evenings to work on the topics."

Meeting with expert engineers and networking sessions with Skolkovo startups are also planned. By the end of the program, the interns are to develop and defend their joint projects. The defense committee will include leading experts of the Russian technology market and certified specialists in the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TIPS).
