KNRTU STUDENT SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDS A PROJECT AT IMMANUEL KANT BALTIC FEDERAL UNIVERSITY
01.09.2022

Leila Khabibullina, a 2nd year KNRTU student from the Faculty of Food Technologies took part in the process of innovative polymer materials creation at the International School of Smart Composites.

The event took place at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and covered, mainly, such topics as magnetic and piezoelectric particles, polymer and composite smart-materials. It was especially useful and interesting for those who were just beginning their acquaintance with the world of science. Participants could also attend workshops on creation and research of non-conventional materials for medicine, energy, and production sector.

"The research work "from scratch" acquaints students with the methods of materials synthesis, research methods of composites and their components", - comments the director of the scientific-educational center "Smart materials and biomedical applications" Valeria Rodionova.

The school is held within the framework of the Russian Science Foundation project "Development and research of multimaterials with magnetic nanocomponents for additive 3d-5d technologies".
