Two Associate Professors from the Department of Technology in Cosmetics of KNRTU, Natalia V. Sautina and Yulia A. Shigabieva, completed research training (from 5 to 10 September, 2022) at Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU). Training was held within the framework of the “Algarysh” Granting Program funded by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and was organized on the basis of the Department of Biotechnology and the support of the Institute of Advanced Training and Professional Retraining, the Center for Physico-Chemical Research Methods and other BSTU subdivisions.

During the training, KNRTU teachers got acquainted with the directions of teaching process and the results of scientific-research activity of the Department and laboratories of the Faculty of Technology of Organic Substances and the Center for Physical-Chemical Research Methods. There are modern methods of extracting biologically active substances from drug plants and methods of their identification and quantification, as well as using physical-chemical methods of learning quality indicators of cosmetics, medicines and food. Associate professors also visited an exhibition on the results of BSTU scientific research.

According to the training results, it was further decided to familiarize students of the Department of Technology in Cosmetics (KNRTU) with the opportunity of training on the basis of the Departments in BSTU, to participate in conferences, seminars, webinars and other events on the cosmetics and biotechnology. They considered the possibility of joint study training of undergraduates and the organization of advanced training of young scientists at BSTU.
