On the eve of the New Year holidays, leading scientists of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan gave lectures on Textile Material Science to the KNRTU students at the Department of Light Industry Technology and Materials. Rustam D. Akbarov, Head of the Department of Textile Material Science of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry together with his colleague, Zulfiya F. Valieva, Associate Professor of the same department, told about advanced methods of quality assessment of textile fibers and innovations in cotton processing.

Also, Zarrina A. Yaminova, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Associate Professor of the Department of Textile Technologies of the Tajik University of Technology gave an informative lecture in Tajik language about Textile Material Science. Foreign students were able to understand the most difficult questions in their native language. In addition, Zarrina A. Yaminova shared a textbook with a glossary in three languages (Tajik, Russian and English).
