Today the Bridge of Friendship was launched at KNRTU, a project organized by our university together with the Association of International Students of Kazan.

“It is extremely important for us that your adaptation in Russia goes comfortably, that you find a lot of new friends and keep the fondest memories of your studies at KNRTU and life in Kazan,” said Albina Shavaleeva, Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Work, in her welcoming speech.

The opening ceremony was conducted in four languages: Russian, English, French and Arabic, because there were students from all over the world.

According to Andrey Vasilyev, Dean of the Faculty of International Educational Programs at KNRTU, the Bridge of Friendship project is a unique opportunity for international students to immerse in the Russian-speaking environment, and it cannot be missed.

The schedule contains many entertaining and informative activities: visiting a theater, going to a museum, conducting a quest and the What? Where? When? game. However, the main thing that makes this project useful and unique is the opportunity to socialize:

The Friendship Bridge project was created for adaptation, and its most important thing is finding friends. Each student will be attached to a tutor, who will help to familiarize with the new language environment and become the first, but not the only friend," summarized Nusratillo Dzhuraev, a graduate student of KNRTU and the Head of the Association of International Students of Kazan.
