An interesting excursion took place at the Kazan Fat Combine for the students of the Lyceum for Gifted Children. The event for the students was organized by the Institute of Food Engineering and Biotechnology of KNRTU.

Andrey Kulikov, Deputy General Director for science of Nefis Cosmetics JSC, conducted the excursion and provided the students with detailed information of production at the Kazan Fat Combine.

The future chemists and technologists were interested to hear that at this enterprise the full production cycle is actively practiced, whether it is a production of sunflower oil and mayonnaise, jam or sauces.

"It turns out that the plant not only produces products, but also grows berries and sunflowers, and they also produce their own hydrogen" – one of the tour participants shared his impressions.
