Recently students of KNRTU visited the industrial site of LLC Tolyattikauchuk. The trip became possible due to cooperation between the university and the enterprise and was called "More than work". This project was launched last year as part of the All-Russian program "More than a journey". It solves the problem of employment of young specialists. Its participants can travel around the country, as well as undergo industrial practice, or internship program at enterprises with further employment, to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary for work.

According to Milyausha Shaykhutdinova, a specialist in Educational and Methodological Work of the Office of Support of Targeted and Off-Budget Training of KNRTU, most students came to Tolyatti for the first time, and it was very interesting for them to communicate with the specialists of the chemical enterprise of their future profile. During two days student visited the central industrial plant and scientific and technical laboratories, got acquainted with the production of isoprene synthetic rubber, as well as visited the butadiene production unit.
