Last week, on January 26th, President of the Association of Russian Language Teachers of Senegal Amade Sega Diop and Russian language teacher of Thiaroye Lyceum Ibrahima Sene visited Kazan National Research Technological University.

During the visit, the delegation met with students studying French. The guests told about the culture, history and traditions of Senegal, the teaching of Russian there, the importance of French in the modern world. In addition, they visited the French language resource center at the Department of Foreign Languages in Professional Communication of KNRTU.

"Russian language is currently taught in many secondary and higher educational institutions in Senegal. We are very interested in cooperation with representatives of this country - we agreed that we will organize online meetings of our students with lecturers and students from Senegal, talking in French and Russian, because communication with native speakers is very useful for the development of communicative skills", says Natalia Kraisman, Dean of the Faculty of Additional Education.
