Professor Yuriy Galyametdinov, Chair of the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry of KNRTU, and Professor Andrey Knyazev, Chair of the Department of Technology of Cosmetics, visited Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). This university is a long-standing partner of KNRTU. Since last year we have been implementing a Double Degree Program with the sponsorship of SIBUR. 14 students of KNRTU who successfully completed the multi-stage selection process went to Beijing last September.

The purpose of the current visit of our colleagues to Beijing is to develop scientific cooperation. The guests were shown the laboratories and scientific centers of BUCT. At the meeting with the faculty and students, Yury Galyametdinov told about the work of the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry, and also took part in the seminar on the defence of projects of Beijing master's students.

"The main purpose of our visit was to discuss joint application for the grant from the Russian Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China with Professor Feng Shi under the NSFC-RSF Collaborative Research Project Support Program," said Professor Galyametdinov.
