The traditional visit of the delegation to KNRTU turned into a meeting of memories - so unexpectedly events began to develop during the visit of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Director of the Nukus branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.

As it turned out, Minister Batyrbek Kaipbergenov entered KNRTU, the Faculty of Automated Control Systems in 1987 and has still remained the warmest memories of our university.

"Two years later our family moved to Uzbekistan, but the fundamentals of education, theoretical and practical base I received here in Kazan, This is my first foreign trip as a Minister, and it is especially touching that it takes place in Tatarstan. I was able to return to my native walls after more than thirty years," emphasized Batyrbek Kaipbergenov.

The meeting was attended by Airat Kh. Muratov, Acting Rector of KNRTU, who also studied at our university.

Therefore, in addition to traditional exchanges of information about universities, development of education in Uzbekistan and Russia and planning of joint activities, the meeting in a really warm and friendly atmosphere recalled interesting lectures and seminars, work in the laboratories of KNRTU and living in dormitories, carefree student days.
