From October 10 to 12, the International Scientific and Practical Forum SMARTEX was held in Ivanovo.

Within the framework of the forum young scientists of the Institute of Light Industry, Fashion and Design of KNRTU Gulnur Khusnutdinova, Alina Khalilova, Nail Nagmanov and Reseda Mustafina made their presentations submitted to the All-Russian contest “LEGPROMMNAUKA”. The presentations of our colleagues were recognized with special nominations and prizes from the forum partners.

The forum also included the “School of Young Scientists” and the All-Russian Seminar-Meeting on Industry Education. Young scientists of KNRTU visited leading textile and clothing enterprises of Ivanovo and Ivanovo Region.

The forum also included a discussion between the directors of industrial enterprises, representatives of universities of different regions of the country, the media and of course young scientists. Our university was represented at the meeting by Prof. Albina Azanova, Head of the Department of Light Industry Technology and Materials, who spoke about the peculiarities of training personnel for the light industry of the region at KNRTU.
