On February 21st, a specialized exhibition was held as part of the final meeting of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. A part of the exhibition, which was attended by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, was dedicated to the technological entrepreneurship and development of student’s startups. At the exhibition, KNRTU was presented by a talented PhD student Andrey Goryachev, who presented his developments in petrochemistry for road construction to Rustam Minnikhanov. These included emulsifiers for bitumen emulsion, additives for asphalt concrete mixtures, as well as modifiers and rheological additives for bitumen.

“We prepared an entire stand, including a brochure, business cards, a video, samples, a one-page slide, and more. We also had the opportunity to speak with Farit M. Khanifov, the Minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan. He praised our products, and we exchanged contact information,” Andrey shared.

According to the young scientist, his goal is to become an example of how a student project or startup can grow into a sustainable and competitive business.

We hope that soon the development of EmulTechologies (Andrey’s company) will significantly improve and transform the quality of the city’s road surfaces.
