A group of KNRTU students has successfully passed online interviews with academic staff from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). This autumn, the students will travel to Beijing to continue their studies under the "2+2" Double Degree Program.

The company SIBUR plays a key role in implementing this educational initiative as the project's strategic partner. The organization provides substantial support to the students by covering travel expenses and awarding a special scholarship.

Second-year student of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering for Chemical and Petrochemical Industry Alexey Fedorov shared his impressions of the selection process and his plans:

"It was very exciting and interesting to undergo the interview with the academic staff at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. I am confident that studying in China will provide valuable knowledge and international experience. In the future, I would like to seek employment at SIBUR. I hope that participation in this program will become an important step towards professional growth. I thank the University for this opportunity!"

KNRTU students will commence their studies at Beijing University of Chemical Technology in September.

The Double Degree Program is implemented for KNRTU students specializing in: • 18.03.01 – "Chemical Technology" • 15.03.02 – "Engineering Machinery and Equipment"
