This year, the course on EU Quality Standards and Environmental Policy started with discussing the EU organizations promoting standards, scale of the standards in action, and their consistency. Using the flipped classroom approach, the students had to studied and analyzed information about EU standards, and then presented their findings in class.

In this course, Dr. Starodubova is giving the seminars and moderating all the discussions.

Finally, the EU quality standards were upscaled to the global community, and the students drew their conclusions on the role of the European Union in the global environmental safety.
