From November 11 to 15, group of faculty from KNRTU’s Department Of Electric Operations And Engineering participated in an advanced training internship at PJSC “Kazanorgsintez” under the program “Digital Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems for Chemical - Technology Production”.

Internships at industrial facilities help KNRTU faculty maintain strong ties with industry, learn about the latest equipment and technologies, and apply this knowledge in training future engineers.

The internship, organized by the Advanced Engineering School Promkhimtech, is part of the master’s program “Digitalization of Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems for Petroleum and Gas Chemical Production” supported by PJSC SIBUR Holding.

They were guided by company experts, including KNRTU alumni and current students, who shared insights into power supply, equipment, and electric drive technologies. Consultations covered modern solutions in digital transformation, internships for students, thesis topics aligned with company needs, and employment opportunities for graduates.

This was the department’s second internship at a SIBUR enterprise, following one at PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim in 2022.
