Faiz Sharafislamov, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Plant Machinery, and Vladimir Petrov, Senior Research Assıstant, completed an internship at LLC “Gazprom neftekhim Salavat”. They studied the current technologies and basic equipment for carbamide production, assessed waste gas emissions, analyzed the physicochemical basis of the ammonia absorption process in production conditions and other topics.

“The vortex absorber developed by us has a positive impact on the environment by reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere, which is very relevant for LLC Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat. During the internship we were able to identify opportunities for further cooperation and experience exchange. This will contribute to the development and strengthening of links between science and production. This experience of working in real production conditions is extremely important for students and teachers. We are ready to use our experience at other production facilities of the plant,” emphasized Vladimir Ivanovich.
