From January 26th till 31st, the “I Healthy Scientist-2025” Cup was held in Kazan, in which scientific and pedagogical employees of universities of the Republic of Tatarstan competed. The organizers of the event, dedicated to the 135 Anniversary of KNRTU, were the Institute of Innovation Management, “Miras” Sports Complex and the Department of Physical Education and Sports of KNRTU.

Teams from 10 universities of the Republic of Tatarstan competed for supremacy in a variety of sports: volleyball and chess tournaments, mini golf tournament, ski race, bowling, billiard and table tennis tournaments.

KNRTU has two silver medals in chess and volleyball competitions and one bronze medal in cross-country skiing. Also, on January 30th, in a friendly duel at the billiard table met Yury Kazakov, Rector of KNRTU, Edvard Abdullazyanov, Rector of Kazan State Power Engineering University, and Zinnur Garayev, Vice Rector of Kazan State Medical University.
