The Institute of Polymers educates specialists for chemical industry in the field of technology and processing of polymers and composite materials, as well as for innovation management in chemical engineering.

The Institute conducts scientific research in hyperbranched, electret, biodegradable, new polymeric materials, polyfunctional optical materials, biopolymers, and green chemistry, as well as business planning, and lean production projects.

Graduates of the Institute of Polymers work at the leading enterprises of the chemical industry in the field of polymer processing not only in Kazan, but also throughout Russia. The largest oil and gas chemical company PJSC SIBUR-Holding is among them.
